We are happy to announce that Rodney and I will be on a diplomatic exchange for Women in Agriculture, Professional Fellows Program sponsored by the U.S. State Department. Our trip leader is MSU’s Wynne Wright, Ph.D, Associate Professor Dept. of Community Sustainability, Dept. of Sociology and two other Michigan women in agriculture will be joining us. We will be visiting farms, attending meetings at universities and embassies, and will have some free time to see African wildlife.

The goal of the Professional Fellows Program is to build fellows’capacity and skills in agro-entrepreneurship and agri-food system innovation and for them to learn about issues of women’s economic empowerment.
