We will take a lovely white skein of merino yarn, grown on the farm, and teach the microwave dye technique. Student has a choice of three dyes, the final product is a beautiful blend of gorgeous colors.

We discuss the science behind the technique and student gains confidence in learning to dye future projects at home. 

We provide yarn, dye, vinegar, mask, rubber gloves, apron and equipment. Please wear clothing and shoes you won’t mind ruining (by spilling something). 

You will walk away with your own skein of yarn, 156 yards, 3 ply, 2.3 ounces. Enough for a hat, or mittens or a cowl. 

Have a friend join you- more fun that way. Class limit is 5 adults. No one under 16 please.
