Stop Ice Cold! A squishy merino yarn, hand dyed on the farm. One 156 yard skein is 3 ply merino and weighs 2.3 ounces. Using a # 6 needle will give you a nice tight  knit, a # 10 needle will give an open knit, that shows the yarn more vividly.  One skein will make the Norwegian Melt the Ice  resistance hat (without the tassle). If you want to make a nice big tassle we recommend two skeins (or the larger skein of our Melt the Ice at 236 yards for $45).
