We overdyed this merino Combed Top in Crimson. This wool Top is from Miss America, my silver, white and brown ewe with a badger colored face. Her micron count averages 17.  Sold as a 3-ounce braid. We recommend two braids for your Ice Out hat.  The 2nd photo shows how nicely the roving spins up.
