Merino Fleece - Natural Color

Merino Fleece - Natural Color
Raw, skirted, natural color fleece shorn from our ewes on March 28, 2026. Shipped right to your door. Washing instructions included. Perfect for felting, spinning, weaving, etc. one fleece will yield at least two sweaters. Approximately 6-7 pounds after skirting. We bag the skirted fiber (with veggie matter) separately and send it along as well. Many people like to use it for garden mulch. If you don’t want it, let us know in the comments at check-out.
We only have 2 for sale. Colors range from silver to black roots with sun bleached ends. Several have white patches in them. Micron count 21 or lower.
We don’t coat our ewes, they run with goats and spend their lives outside. Goats pull coats off of every animal in the field. The point being… I skirt heavily, but you’re going to find some veggie matter. You’re basically supporting the life of free range sheep. They live with donkeys, have trees for shade, and rotate from one field to the next as they mow down their pastures. Quite the life!
please note: your shipping is based on weight. At check-out we charge $10 but it will be more (usually around $29 to $40 depending on the distance). I will contact you after the sale to let you know if there is an addition to the shipping charge. If you’re in Michigan, we can discuss a rendezvous for pick-up.
